Box Hill Golf Club's weekly Open Competition is a strokeplay individual event open to all golfers. The competition is held on Sundays (as well as Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) and requires players to hold a current Golf Australia Handicap. The maximum handicap for men is 36 and for women is 45. A $6.00 entry fee applies, payable before commencing the round. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and are responsible for returning their own scorecards. Ties in Monthly Medals are resolved by playing a stroke round on the next Saturday or as directed by the match committee. Games can be booked via the website, app, or by calling the golf shop.
