Box Hill Golf Club runs weekly Open Competitions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These are individual strokeplay competitions open to all golfers. A $6.00 entry fee applies to all competitions. Players can book via the club website, app, or by calling the golf shop. Participants must hold a current Golf Australia Handicap (maximum handicap for men is 36, for women is 45). Competition cards must be returned as directed by the match committee. Monthly medals are played with ties resolved by a strokeplay playoff on the following Saturday or as directed by the match committee. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and competition fees must be paid before commencing the round.
