Box Hill Golf Club hosts weekly Open Competition days on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The event is played as a strokeplay medal competition (Monthly Medals). A $6.00 entry fee applies. Players must hold a current Golf Australia Handicap (maximum handicap: men 36, women 45). Competitions are played according to the rules of golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Scotland and the United States Golfing Association. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and competition fees must be paid at registration. Ties in Monthly Medals are resolved by a strokeplay playoff on the next Saturday or as directed by the match committee. Booking can be made via the website, app, or by calling the golf shop.
