Weekly Open Competition held at Box Hill Golf Club on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The event is an individual strokeplay medal competition open to all golfers. A $6.00 entry fee applies to all competitions. Players must hold a current Golf Australia Handicap, with a maximum handicap of 36 for men and 45 for women. Entry can be made via the club website, app, or by calling the golf shop. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time, and competition fees must be paid at registration. All competitions are played according to the Rules of Golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and the United States Golfing Association. Monthly medals: ties are played off on the next Saturday as a stroke round or as directed by the match committee. Players in competition have right of way on the course over non-competition players. All competition cards must be returned as directed by the match committee.
