Box Hill Golf Club hosts weekly Open Competitions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These are individual strokeplay events open to all golfers. A $6.00 entry fee applies. Players must hold a current Golf Australia Handicap (maximum handicap 36 for men, 45 for women) and report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off. Entry can be booked via the website, app, or by phone. All competitions are played according to the rules of golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Scotland and the United States Golfing Association. Players must return their scorecards as directed by the match committee. Handicaps are adjusted in accordance with the USGA slope system via GolfLink. Monthly medals are held with ties played as a stroke round on the next Saturday or as directed by the match committee.
