What Data We Collect

Open Golf Events collects minimal data:

• Logged-in users: We store your name and preferences (which courses you follow, whether you prefer km or miles, and so on). This data is completely within your control and can be managed from your Preferences control panel.
• All visitors: We use Ahrefs server-side analytics to measure traffic and understand how the site is used. This does not use cookies and processes only aggregated, non-identifying data.
• Session data: PHP stores a session identifier to keep you logged in while browsing.

What We Don't Do

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any cookie-based tracking. We do not collect email addresses, browsing history, or any other personal information beyond what's listed above. We do not sell data to anyone.

Event Data

All competition data displayed on Open Golf Events is publicly available information aggregated from golf club and tour operator websites.

Your Rights

If you have a user account, you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Contact us for more information.
