Box Hill Golf Club's weekly Open Competition is held on Saturdays (as well as Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays). This individual strokeplay event is open to all golfers, including visitors and non-members. The entry fee is $6.00 AUD. Players must hold a current Golf Australia Handicap (maximum handicap: men 36, women 45). Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and competition fees must be paid at registration. Each player is responsible for returning their own scorecard. Monthly medals are awarded with ties played on the next Saturday stroke round or as directed by the match committee. Games can be booked via the website, app, or by calling the golf shop.
