Box Hill Golf Club's weekly Open Competition is held on Tuesdays (as well as Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays). This individual strokeplay medal competition is open to all golfers, including visitors and non-members. Players must hold a current Golf Australia Handicap (maximum handicap: 36 for men, 45 for women). The entry fee is $6.00. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and competition fees must be paid at registration. Monthly medals are played, with ties resolved by a stroke round on the following Saturday or as directed by the match committee. Games can be booked via the website, app, or by calling the golf shop.
