Box Hill Golf Club's weekly Open Competition is held every Saturday. This individual strokeplay event is open to all golfers (men and women) with a Golf Australia Handicap. Maximum handicaps: 36 for men, 45 for women. A $6.00 entry fee applies. Players can book via the club website, app, or by calling the golf shop at (03) 9808 1526. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and competition fees must be paid at registration. All competitions are played according to the rules of golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Scotland and the United States Golfing Association. Monthly medals: ties must be played on the next Saturday stroke round or as directed by the match committee.
