Box Hill Golf Club's weekly Open Competition is held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The event is played as a strokeplay medal competition open to all golfers. A $6.00 entry fee applies. Players must hold a Golf Australia Handicap (maximum handicap: men 36, women 45). Competitions are played according to the rules of golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Scotland and the United States Golfing Association. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and pay competition fees before commencing. Scorecards must be returned as directed by the match committee. Monthly medals: ties must be played on the next Saturday stroke round or as directed by the match committee. Entry can be made via the website, app, or by calling the golf shop.
