Box Hill Golf Club's weekly Open Competition is held on Saturdays (as well as Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays). This individual strokeplay competition is open to all golfers holding a valid Golf Australia Handicap. The maximum handicap for men is 36 and for women is 45. A $6.00 entry fee applies to all competitions. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and pay competition fees at registration. Scores must be returned to the match committee as directed. Handicaps are adjusted according to the USGA slope system via GolfLink. Monthly medal competitions include tie-break play on the following Saturday if required. Booking can be made via the club website, app, or by calling the golf shop at 03 9808 1526.
