Box Hill Golf Club's weekly Open Competition is held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This individual strokeplay competition is open to both men and women. A $6.00 AUD entry fee applies to all competitions. Players must hold a current Golf Australia Handicap (maximum 36 for men, 45 for women). Competitions are played according to the rules of golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Scotland and the United States Golfing Association. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and competition fees must be paid at registration. Monthly medals are played with ties decided on the next Saturday stroke round or as directed by the match committee. Games can be booked via the website, app, or by calling the golf shop.
