Box Hill Golf Club hosts weekly Open Competitions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The event on 2026-08-04 is a Tuesday Open Competition. It is an individual strokeplay event open to all golfers. A $6.00 entry fee applies. Players must hold a current Golf Australia Handicap (max 36 for men, 45 for women). Entry can be booked via the website, app, or by calling the golf shop. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time. All competitions are played according to the Rules of Golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Scotland and the United States Golfing Association. Players must return their scorecards as directed by the match committee. Monthly medals are held with ties played on the next Saturday stroke round or as directed by the match committee. Field grading applies: 1 grade if under 70 players, 2 grades for 70–120, 3 grades for 121–170, and 4 grades for 170+ (the pro shop may reduce grades to ensure adequate ball rundown). Players in competition have right of way over non-competition players.
