Box Hill Golf Club's weekly Open Competition is held on Tuesdays (as well as Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays). The competition is open to all golfers with a valid Golf Australia handicap. Entry fee is $6.00. Players can book their tee times via the club website or app, or by calling the golf shop at (03) 9808 1526. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and competition fees must be paid at registration. All competitions are played according to the rules of golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Scotland and the United States Golfing Association. Players must hold a current Golf Australia Handicap. The maximum handicap for men is 36 and for women is 45. Monthly medal competitions include strokeplay rounds with ties to be played on the next Saturday or as directed by the match committee.
