Box Hill Golf Club's Open Competition is held weekly on Saturdays (as well as Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays). This individual strokeplay event is open to all players. A $6.00 entry fee applies. Players must hold a Golf Australia Handicap (maximum handicap: men 36, women 45). Competitions are played according to the rules of golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Scotland and the United States Golfing Association. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and competition fees must be paid at registration. Monthly medals are played with ties resolved on the next Saturday stroke round or as directed by the match committee. Games can be booked via the website, app, or by calling the golf shop.
