Box Hill Golf Club's Open Competition is a weekly individual strokeplay event held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The competition is open to all golfers holding a current Golf Australia Handicap. The maximum handicap for men is 36 and for women is 45. A $6.00 entry fee applies. Players can book their tee times via the club website, app, or by calling the golf shop at 03 9808 1526. Players must report to the golf shop 10 minutes before hit-off time and competition fees must be paid at registration. All competitions are played according to the rules of golf as set out by the Royal and Ancient Scotland and the United States Golfing Association. Monthly medals are played with ties to be decided on the next Saturday stroke round or as directed by the match committee.
