The MAKITA 9 is a 9-hole individual Stableford competition held at Golfclub Laab im Walde on the Challenge course. The event is open to all amateur golfers holding a World Handicap Index (WHI) of 54 or lower who are members of a golf club affiliated with the ÖGV (Austrian Golf Association) or an internationally recognized national golf body. The tournament is played as gross and net Stableford over 9 holes and is handicap-relevant. Tee times are flexible, with players able to choose a start time between 14:00 and 17:00. The entry fee is €32 for guests and €18 for club members; youth players pay €18 and €12 respectively. A maximum of 40 participants are accepted. Registration must be completed online by 11:00 on the day of the event (26 August 2026). Electronic scorecards are used. The event is part of the MAKITA Afterwork 9 series, a nationwide Austrian club tournament circuit for amateurs. No prizes are awarded at the club-level preliminary events; however, top performers may qualify for regional Conference Finals and the Austria Final, where prizes and prize money are available.
