Makita 9

MAKITA 9 is a 9-hole individual Stableford competition held at Golfclub Laab im Walde on 25.09.2026 on the Challenge 9-hole course. The event is open to all amateur golfers who are members of a golf club affiliated with the ÖGV (Austrian Golf Union) or an internationally recognized national golf association, with a World Handicap Index (WHI) of 54 or below. The tournament is played with gross and net scoring and is handicap-relevant. Players use electronic scorecards. Tee times are available at 14:00 or 16:30 (preference should be indicated when entering). The entry fee is €32 for guests and €18 for members (youth: €18 and €12 respectively). Maximum 40 participants. Registration closes at 11:00 on the day of the event (25.09.2026). Online entry is available for both members and guests from 03.02.2026 to 25.09.2026 at 11:00. This event is part of the MAKITA Afterwork 9 series, a nationwide Austrian amateur tournament circuit where results feed into regional ÖGV rankings across four age classes (WK1: up to 30, WK2: 31-45, WK3: 46-60, WK4: 61+). The top nine results count toward the ranking, with a minimum of five tournaments required to qualify for the Conference Finals. Women play from the red tees, men from the yellow tees. No prizes are provided for individual club tournaments; prizes are only awarded at Conference Finals and Austria Final stages.
