The MAKITA 9 is a 9-hole individual Stableford tournament played on the Challenge 9-hole course at Golfclub Laab im Walde on 16 October 2026. The event is open to all amateur golfers who are members of a golf club affiliated with the Austrian Golf Union (ÖGV) or an ÖGV-recognised foreign national association, and hold a World Handicap Index of 54 or below. Guests are welcome. Two tee time blocks are available: 14:00 or 16:30 (preference to be stated on entry). Entry is via online entry through golf.at. The entry fee is €32 for guests (€18 for youth) and €18 for members (€12 for youth). The maximum number of participants is 40. The deadline for entry is 16 October 2026 at 11:00. The tournament is handicap-relevant and uses electronic scorecards. Results are recorded for both gross and net Stableford scoring. This event is part of the MAKITA Afterwork 9 series, a nationwide Austrian amateur tournament circuit where results feed into regional and national rankings, with top performers qualifying for Conference Finals and the Austria Final. Age categories for the ranking are: up to 30 years, 31–45 years, 46–60 years, and 61+ years.
