The Oktoberfestturnier is a Texas Scramble competition held on Saturday, 10 October 2026 at Golfclub Laab im Walde on the Compact (short) 18-hole course. The event is open to all golfers, including visitors and non-members. Players compete in pairs; pair entries are requested, and those entering individually will be allocated a partner. The competition has a maximum field size of 60 players. The handicap limit is 54, and the event is not handicap-relevant (nicht vorgabewirksam). Entry fee is €58 for guests, €38 for members, €25 for junior guests (up to 18 years), €18 for junior members, €35 for student guests (up to 27 years), and €28 for student members. Registration is available online from 30 January 2026 until 9 October 2026 at 12:00. The day begins at 10:00 with a Weisswurst breakfast, followed by a cannon start (Kanonenstart) at 11:00, prize-giving at 15:00, and a Wiesn buffet afterwards. Participants are encouraged to wear traditional Bavarian attire (Dirndl or Lederhose).
