MAKITA 9 is a 9-hole individual Stableford competition held at Golfclub Laab im Walde on the Challenge course. The event is open to all amateur golfers who are members of a golf club affiliated with the Austrian Golf Federation (ÖGV) or an ÖGV-recognised foreign national association, and who hold a World Handicap Index of 54 or lower. The tournament is handicap-relevant and uses gross and net scoring. Players can choose from two starting blocks: 14:00 or 16:30 (preference should be indicated). Electronic scorecards are used. The entry fee is €32 for guests and €18 for members (youth €18 and €12 respectively). The maximum number of participants is 40. Registration closes on 9 October 2026 at 11:00. Online entry is available for both members and guests from 3 February 2026 until the deadline. This event is part of the MAKITA Afterwork 9 tournament series across Austria, with results contributing to regional ÖGV rankings in four age classes (up to 30, 31-45, 46-60, and 61+). No prizes are awarded at the club tournament level, but top performers may qualify for Conference Finals and the Austria Final.
