MAKITA 9 is a 9-hole individual Stableford competition held at Golfclub Laab im Walde on the Challenge course. The event is open to all amateur golfers who are members of a golf club affiliated with the ÖGV (Austrian Golf Association) or an internationally recognized national golf association, and who hold a World Handicap Index (WHI) of 54 or below. The competition is played as a 9-hole Stableford with handicap strokes, is handicap-relevant, and uses electronic scorecards. Start times are available at 14:00 or 16:30 (players should indicate their preference when entering). The entry fee is €32 for guests and €18 for members; youth players pay €18 and €12 respectively. The maximum number of participants is 40. Registration closes at 11:00 on the day of the event (31 July 2026). The event is open to visitors and non-members. Tee assignments: women play from the red tees, men from the yellow tees. Results are recorded in the ÖGV regional ranking lists across four age categories (up to 30, 31-45, 46-60, and 61+). No prizes are awarded for individual club tournament rounds; prizes are only available at the Conference Finals and Austria Final stages of the broader MAKITA Afterwork 9 series.
