The Wednesday Individual Game (WIG) is a weekly 9-hole individual competition held at Airport National Golf Complex in East Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The event runs every Wednesday throughout the season, with tee times starting at 4:30pm and a 5pm shotgun start. The entry fee is $26 per person for non-season pass holders, which includes the course fee, a $2 contribution to the prize fund from the club, $5 for the individual game, and $5 for a random draw 2-person team game. All winnings are paid out in gift certificates. Players must sign up by 4pm on the day of play. A GHIN handicap is required; players without a GHIN handicap will have one created by the pro shop based on player reputation, with 60% of that handicap applied until a GHIN handicap is officially established. The event is open to the public. Some Wednesdays are designated as Food Nights with special formats, including 4-person best shot nights. To maintain pace of play, players must pick up after a net double bogey.
