The Wednesday Individual Game (WIG) is a weekly open competition held at Airport National Golf Complex, open to the public with no membership required. Participants must sign up by 4:00 PM on the day of the event. The standard format is a 9-hole individual game with tee times starting at 4:30 PM and a 5:00 PM shotgun start. The entry fee is $26 for non-season pass holders; season pass holders pay $8 for walking. The fee includes $5 for the individual game, $5 for a random draw 2-person team game, and the course adds $2 to the prize fund. All winnings are paid out in gift certificates. Players must hold a GHIN handicap; those without one will have a handicap created by the professionals based on reputation, initially set at 60% until an official GHIN handicap is established. To maintain pace of play, players are required to pick up after a net double bogey. Specific dates are designated as 'Food Nights' with special formats, including 4-person best shot competitions. July 29, 2026 is scheduled as a Best Shot Food Night with a 5:00 PM shotgun start, where 4 players compete as a team in a best shot format.
