The Wednesday Individual Game (WIG) is a recurring weekly 9-hole individual competition held at Airport National Golf Complex. The event is open to all golfers with public welcome. Players must sign up by 4:00 PM on the day of the event. Tee times start at 4:30 PM with a 5:00 PM shotgun start. The entry fee is $26 for non-season pass holders ($8 for season pass walking), which includes $2 to the prize fund, $5 to the individual game, and $5 to a random draw 2-person team game. All winnings are distributed as gift certificates. A GHIN handicap is required; players without a GHIN handicap will have one created by the pro shop based on player reputation, with 60% of that handicap applied until a GHIN handicap is established. To maintain pace of play, players are asked to pick up after reaching net double bogey. Some Wednesdays feature Food Nights or Best Shot team formats.
