The Wednesday Individual Game (WIG) is a weekly 9-hole individual competition held every Wednesday at Airport National Golf Complex. Public welcome – sign-up required by 4:00 PM. Tee times start at 4:30 PM with a 5:00 PM shotgun start. The entry fee is $26 for non-season pass holders, which includes $8 for season pass walking, $5 to the individual game prize fund, and $5 to a random draw 2-person team game. The course adds $2 to the prize fund each week. All winnings are awarded as gift certificates. Players must have a GHIN handicap; those without one will have a handicap created by the pro shop based on player reputation, receiving 60% of that handicap until a GHIN is established. To maintain pace of play, players must pick up after net double bogey. Some Wednesdays are designated as Food Nights or Best Shot nights with different formats. Results are posted on the course website.
