The Wednesday Individual Game (WIG) is a weekly 9-hole individual competition held at Airport National Golf Course on Wednesday evenings. Tee times start at 4:30pm with a 5pm shotgun start. The event is open to the public with no membership required, but players must sign up by 4pm on the day of play. The entry fee is $26 for non-season pass holders, which includes $2 going to the prize fund, $8 for season pass walking, $5 for the individual game, and $5 for a random draw 2-person team game. All winnings are paid out in gift certificates. A GHIN handicap is required; players without one will have a handicap created by the pro shop based on player reputation, with that handicap set at 60% until an official GHIN handicap is established. To maintain pace of play, players must pick up after net double bogey. Some Wednesdays are designated as Food Nights or Best Shot nights with different formats. The event runs weekly from March through October 2026.
