Forbes Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located on the northern side of Forbes, NSW, beside the Newell Highway. The par 72 layout stretches 6,100 meters and features four par 3s (130-192m), ten par 4s (311-411m), and four par 5s (419-493m), with slope ratings of 123 for men and 116 for women. The course is distinguished by its natural watercourse, which forms part of Lake Forbes and bisects several holes that players cross four times during a round. Fully watered fairways and greens are maintained throughout the course. Following the installation of a $400,000 irrigation system in 2012, the club has significantly improved and is now regarded as one of the best country courses in NSW.
