The Marsh Hawk Course at Ford's Colony Country Club opened in 1984 as an 18-hole, par 72 course stretching 6,650 yards from the back tees. Designed by Dan Maples, the course features narrow fairways, well-placed bunkers, natural lakes, and elevation changes within a traditional, tree-lined layout. Located just 6 miles northwest of historic Williamsburg, Virginia, the course provides a challenging experience that tests players of varying skill levels.

Marsh Hawk served as host of the 1998 and 1999 Virginia State Opens, and as a Monday Qualifier location for the PGA Tour's Michelob Championship 12 straight years. Elevation changes and contouring of the holes around natural lakes test depth perception, while the course's challenging undulating greens distinguish it.
