Forebay Golf Course is a 9-hole public course located in Santa Nella, California, in Merced County along the California Coastal Range near Interstate 5 and Highway 152. The course measures 3,226 yards with a par of 36 and features two sets of tees for different skill levels. The course was originally built in 1960 and has fairways of Bermuda grass and greens of bent grass, with minimal water hazards and a few bunkers throughout the layout.

The course presents a moderate challenge for golfers of all skill levels, with the back tees providing additional difficulty even for experienced players. The ninth hole is noted as a particularly interesting risk-reward hole. Forebay offers standard amenities including a driving range, putting green, rental clubs, and a full pro shop with apparel.
