Forest Akers East Golf Course

Forest Akers East Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout located on Michigan State University's campus in East Lansing, Michigan. The course was redesigned in 1997 and serves as the home course for the university's Big Ten men's and women's golf teams.

The East Course features multiple tee options accommodating various skill levels, with course ratings ranging from 62.6/103 to 70.5/127 for men and 66.4/109 to 77.2/134 for women. The course presents moderate difficulty relative to its yardage, offering a balanced test of golf skills.

Located at 2231 S. Harrison Road, the course benefits from Michigan State University's comprehensive golf facilities, including the 20-acre Golf Center practice facility that opened in 1997. This facility features a three-acre bentgrass practice tee, teaching areas, practice bunkers, target greens, and a 20,000-square-foot putting green with 18 heated covered hitting stations.

The East Course has hosted significant collegiate competitions, including the 2022 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country National Championships.
