The Thursday Tournament (Torsdagsturnering), sponsored by Per Bihl, is Svendborg Golf Club's weekly open competition running throughout the 2026 season. It is open to all handicap players up to a maximum of 42, with a minimum age of 15. The tournament primarily uses Stableford scoring, with some rounds possibly alternating formats. Players are divided into three divisions (A: HCP +8 to 19, B: HCP 19.1 to 25.7, C: HCP 25.8 to 42.0) based on their handicap at first participation. Entry is made via Golfbox online, with a deadline of Sunday 20:00 for early start times (08:00-09:30). Late entries (14:30-16:30) can be made on the day via mobile payment. The entry fee is 30 DKK. Prizes are awarded weekly for the top 3 in each division (if at least 12 participants) and there are cumulative prizes throughout the season. Tee times are chosen at entry, and teams are formed by the tournament leadership.
