The Thursday Tournament sponsored by Per Bihl is Svendborg Golf Club's weekly open competition, running every Thursday throughout the season from April to September 2026. The event is open to all handicap golfers up to a maximum of 42, including greenfee visitors and non-members. Players compete individually in a mostly stableford format, with tee times selected at entry. Entry is made via Golfbox by Sunday 20:00 the week before, with a start fee of 30 DKK. Early start priority (08:00–09:30 May–September, 09:30–10:30 April) requires pre-booking; late start (14:30–16:30 depending on month) allows walk-in entry with payment via MobilePay. Players are grouped into threes or fours by the tournament committee. Prizes are awarded daily for the top three in each division (A: HCP +8 to 19, B: HCP 19.1–25.7, C: HCP 25.8–42.0), with ongoing cumulative prizes across the season and a final awards ceremony at season end. Results are published online after each round. Note: The Danish rules state a minimum age of 15 years, and the event runs from April to September 2026 (not year-round as previously stated).
