The Thursday Tournament sponsored by Per Bihl is Svendborg Golf Club's weekly competition, running throughout the 2026 season. The event is open to all handicap players aged 15 and over, with a maximum handicap of 42. Greenfee players and visitors are explicitly welcome to enter. The tournament is played primarily in stableford format on an individual basis. Players are mixed into groups of 3 or 4 balls by the tournament leadership. Two start time options are available: early start (April: 09:30–10:30; May–September: 08:00–09:30) and late start (April and September: 14:30–15:30; May–August: 15:30–16:30). Entry and payment are made via Golfbox, with a deadline of Sunday 20:00 for early start. The entry fee is 30 DKK. Players are divided into three handicap divisions: Række A (handicap +8 to 19), Række B (19.1–25.7), and Række C (25.8–42.0), based on their first participation, with placements fixed for the season. Prizes are awarded each Thursday for the top three in each division (provided there are at least 12 participants), plus four through-season prizes per division, totaling 12 prizes. Season-long prizes are awarded at the season finale, with overall start dates on 21 May and 27 August. For late start players not pre-registered in Golfbox, paper scorecards must be completed, photographed, and sent via mobile payment to number 51 92 59 33 immediately after finishing the round.
