The Thursday Tournament (Torsdagsturnering), sponsored by Per Bihl, is Svendborg Golf Club's weekly open tournament held every Thursday throughout the 2026 season (April to September). The event is open to all handicap golfers up to handicap 42, aged 15 and over. Greenfee players and visitors are welcome to participate. The tournament is played primarily in stableford format, with alternating formats throughout the season. Players are divided into three handicap divisions: Række A (handicap +8 to 19), Række B (handicap 19.1 to 25.7), and Række C (handicap 25.8 to 42.0). Placement in divisions occurs at first participation and does not change during the season. Entry is made via Golfbox online booking, with a deadline of Sunday 20:00 for early start (08:00-09:30 in May-September, 09:30-10:30 in April). Late start (14:30-15:30 in April/September, 15:30-16:30 in May-August) can be booked via Golfbox or by arriving at the course and paying via MobilePay. The entry fee is 30 DKK. Prizes are awarded daily to the top 1-3 players in each division (provided there are at least 12 participants), plus four cumulative prizes per division throughout the season. Cumulative prizes are calculated from all single tournament scores minus the four worst rounds. Season-ending prize presentations take place at the conclusion of the season in late September.
