The Thursday Tournament (Torsdagsturnering), sponsored by Per Bihl, is Svendborg Golf Club's weekly open competition held every Thursday throughout the 2026 season. The tournament is open to all handicap golfers aged 15 and over, with greenfee players and visitors explicitly welcome. The format is primarily Stableford, with alternating formats throughout the season. Players are assigned to groups of 3 or 4 balls by the tournament organization. Entry is made via Golfbox online booking, with a deadline of Sunday 20:00 for early start (08:00-09:30 in May-September, 09:30-10:30 in April). Late start is available from 14:30-15:30 in April/September and 15:30-16:30 in May-August. The entry fee is 30 DKK. Players are divided into two divisions: Division A (handicap +8 to 19) and Division B (handicap 19.1 to 25.7), with a third division C for handicaps 25.8 to 42.0. Daily prizes are awarded to the top 1-3 finishers in each division (minimum 12 participants required). Additionally, there are four ongoing prizes per division based on cumulative scores excluding the four worst rounds. Prize presentations for daily results occur after the round, with ongoing prizes awarded at the season finale on 21 May and 27 August 2026, followed by a communal meal.
