The Thursday Night League (T-N-L) is a weekly golf league held every Thursday at Pembroke Country Club in Pembroke, MA. The 2026 season begins on Thursday, May 14, 2026. The league is open to both members and non-members, with men and women welcome to participate. Players must hold a USGA handicap. Participants are placed into blind-drawn teams of three for quota scoring competition. The league uses a quota scoring system where players receive points based on their score relative to par: double bogey or higher earns 0 points, bogey earns 1 point, par earns 2 points, birdie earns 4 points, and eagle earns 8 points. Each player's starting quota is calculated from their course handicap (from the white tees) using the formula: (36 - course handicap) / 2. Players pay a weekly league fee of $20 plus regular green fee rates. Prizes and payouts include closest-to-the-pin winners, individual quota winners, blind draw team quota winners, and gross and net skins. Scorecards must be turned in at the Pro Shop or Grill Room upon completion, or emailed as a photo. Scoring is completed on Fridays and winnings can be picked up in the Pro Shop. Tee-times must be booked each week (up to 7 days in advance) and are not held week to week. Play is from the white tees, except hole #3 where red tees are used. USGA Rules govern all play, with a lift, clean, and place rule allowed within 6 inches of the ball's position (without improving position from rough to fairway or sand trap to rough).
