The Thursday Night League (T-N-L) is a weekly golf league held every Thursday at Pembroke Country Club in Pembroke, Massachusetts. The league runs on the first 9 holes, with tee times available between 10 am and 6 pm. It is open to both members and non-members (visitors), and both men and women are welcome. Participants must hold a USGA handicap. Players book their own tee times each week (tee-times can be made up to 7 days in advance and are not held week to week). Teams of 3 are drawn by blind draw for quota competition. The scoring system is a quota-based stableford-style format: Double Bogey or Higher = 0 points, Bogey = 1 point, Par = 2 points, Birdie = 4 points, Eagle = 8 points. A player's starting quota is calculated by taking their course handicap from the white tees, subtracting it from 36, and dividing by 2. Regular green fee rates apply in addition to a weekly league fee of $20. Prizes and payouts include Closest to the Pin winners, Individual Quota winners, Blind Draw Team Quota winners, and Gross & Net Skins. Scorecards must be turned in at the Pro Shop or Grill Room upon completion, or emailed as a photo. Scoring is completed on Fridays and winnings can be picked up in the Pro Shop. Play is governed by USGA Rules, from the white tees (except red tees on hole #3), with a lift, clean, and place rule within 6 inches (without improving ball position from rough to fairway or sand trap to rough).
