The Thursday Night League (T-N-L) is a weekly golf league held on Thursdays at Pembroke Country Club in Pembroke, Massachusetts. The 2026 season begins on Thursday, May 14, 2026, with play consisting of the first 9 holes. Tee times are available between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm and must be booked each week (up to 7 days in advance); tee times are not held week to week. The league is open to both members and non-members, with men and women welcome. Participants must hold a valid USGA handicap. The entry fee is $20 per week, plus regular green fee rates apply. Play is conducted under USGA Rules from the white tees, except hole 3 where the red tees are used. The scoring system is a Quota Scoring format: Double Bogey or higher scores 0 points, Bogey scores 1 point, Par scores 2 points, Birdie scores 4 points, and Eagle scores 8 points. Each player's course handicap is determined from the white tees, and their starting quota is calculated by subtracting their course handicap from 36 and dividing by 2. Players can lift, clean, and place their ball within 6 inches of its original position, provided they do not improve the lie (e.g., from rough to fairway). Teams of three are drawn by blind draw for team quota prizes, and there are also individual quota, closest-to-the-pin, and gross/net skins prizes. Scorecards must be submitted at the Pro Shop or Grill Room upon completion, or a photo can be emailed. Scoring is completed on Fridays, and winnings/prizes can be picked up at the Pro Shop.
