The Thursday Night League (T-N-L) is an open league at Pembroke Country Club, open to both members and non-members. The league runs on Thursdays starting May 14, 2026, with play on the first 9 holes. Tee times must be reserved between 10 am and 6 pm, and can be booked online or by calling the Pro Shop at 781-829-2273. Players must hold a USGA handicap. Men and women are welcome. The league fee is $20 per week, plus regular green fee rates apply. Scoring uses a quota system: double bogey or higher = 0 points, bogey = 1 point, par = 2 points, birdie = 4 points, eagle = 8 points. A player's starting quota is calculated by subtracting their course handicap from 36 (from white tees) and dividing by 2. Prizes include closest-to-the-pin winners, individual quota winners, blind draw team quota winners (teams of 3), and gross/net skins. Scorecards must be turned in at the Pro Shop or Grill Room upon completion, or emailed. Scoring is completed on Fridays and winnings can be picked up in the Pro Shop. Tee-times are not held week to week; players must book each week, up to 7 days in advance. USGA rules govern all play, with play from the white tees except red tees on hole 3. Players may lift, clean, and place within 6 inches of their ball's position, provided they do not improve the ball's position from rough to fairway or sand trap to rough.
