The Thursday Night League (T-N-L) is a weekly golf league open to both members and non-members at Pembroke Country Club in Pembroke, MA. The league runs every Thursday starting May 14, 2026, with play on the first 9 holes. Tee times can be reserved between 10 am and 6 pm, either online or by calling the Pro Shop at 781-829-2273. Players must have a USGA handicap. Men and women are welcome. The league fee is $20 per week, and regular green fee rates also apply. Scoring uses a Quota Scoring System where points are awarded as follows: Double Bogey or higher = 0 points, Bogey = 1 point, Par = 2 points, Birdie = 4 points, Eagle = 8 points. Each player's course handicap (from white tees) is used to calculate a starting quota: subtract the course handicap from 36, then divide by 2 for 9 holes. Teams of 3 are drawn by blind draw and compete for team quota prizes. Additional prizes include Closest to the Pin, Gross and Net Skins, and Individual Quota winners. Scores are turned in at the Pro Shop or Grill Room upon completion, or can be emailed. Scoring is completed on Fridays and winnings can be picked up in the Pro Shop. USGA Rules govern all play, with play from the white tees except red tees on hole #3. Players may lift, clean, and place within 6 inches of their ball's position, provided they do not improve the ball's position from rough to fairway or sand trap to rough.
