This 1993 Nicklaus Design project was headed by lead architect Bruce Borland and is known for its great value. The course routing weaves through an upscale residential community and lowcountry forest, with majestic live oaks, cypress, and pine woodlands making a larger impression than the surrounding homes. Golden Bear rewards accuracy over power, featuring tight fairways and numerous doglegs, with overhanging live oak limbs threatening to obscure approach shots.
