Gold Nine Country Club is a nine-hole golf course located in Sangdang-gu, Cheongju, South Chungcheong Province. The course opened in 2002 and is situated in an area characterized by rolling hills and natural terrain. The layout features a mix of par 3, par 4, and par 5 holes, with a total par of 36. The course offers four sets of tees, providing varying yardages from the red tees at 2,601 meters to the blue tees at 3,102 meters. The front nine measures 2,946 meters from the white tees, while the back nine extends the total course length to 3,177 meters from the blue tees.

The design incorporates several water hazards and out-of-bounds areas that define the difficulty of the round. The first hole is a 247-meter par 4 that plays through a narrow corridor with water guarding the left side. The second hole, a 316-meter par 4, requires a precise approach over water to a green protected by fairway bunkers. The third hole is a 343-meter par 4 where the fairway narrows significantly, demanding accuracy off the tee to avoid OB on both sides. The fourth hole is the longest on the course at 572 meters, a par 5 that plays through a valley with water hazards and bunkers challenging the approach.

The back nine begins with the fifth hole, a 202-meter par 3 that plays over a large water hazard to a green protected by bunkers. The sixth hole is a 361-meter par 4 that requires a carry over water for the second shot. The seventh hole is a short 128-meter par 3, offering a scoring opportunity but still demanding precision. The eighth hole is a 531-meter par 5 that plays through a narrow fairway with water on the right and bunkers guarding the green. The ninth hole is a 391-meter par 4 that plays uphill to a green protected by water on the left and OB on the right. The course is accessible via the Cheongju Expressway Exit 17 or the Cheongju Exit, with driving times of approximately 17 minutes and 20 minutes respectively from the major interchanges.
