Established in 1988 on over 300 acres of rolling terrain once part of Golden Glow Dairy Farm, Golden Hills Golf & Country Club is located in Lexington, South Carolina. The 18-hole course features 6,461 yards from the longest tees for a par of 71, with a course rating of 71.2 and a slope rating of 134 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Ron Garl, the golf course opened in 1988. The course is set upon a rolling topography which features beautiful trees and lakes throughout.

The golf course features TifEagle Bermuda greens, varied yardages, and challenging layouts with manicured fairways, bunkers, tree-lined paths, and water features. It caters to a diverse range of skill levels and has received consistent recognition—ranked among the top five courses in South Carolina's Midlands and rated above 8/10 by the South Carolina Golf Guide. It has also earned "Best Golf Course" honors from readers of The State newspaper and Lexington Life Magazine.

The elegant clubhouse hosts a Scottish tavern, banquet facilities, locker rooms, and a golf pro shop. Four lighted tennis courts and a Junior Olympic–sized outdoor pool, along with a children's wading pool, support a variety of recreational interests.
