The Country Club of Lexington is an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by Ed Riccoboni and opened in 1966. The course features 6,542 yards from the longest tees, with a course rating of 71.3 and slope rating of 131 on Bermuda grass. Located south of the city of Lexington at 1066 Barr Road, the club is convenient to the entire Columbia area.

The tree-lined parkland course provides a balance of challenge and enjoyment for golfers of all skill levels. The rough is thick and deep, making the course very challenging. The greens are quick and challenging with numerous subtle slopes and undulations. The club features a full service driving range with short game practice facility and two practice putting greens.

The golf course has hosted several SCGA and USGA events and is constantly ranked among the top courses in the Midlands. CCL has been awarded "Club of the Year" by the South Carolina Golf Association. Beyond golf, the club offers an Olympic-size swimming pool, seven tennis courts, grill area, and banquet/meeting rooms.
