Timberlake Country Club is an 18-hole, par 71 championship course stretching 6,579 yards from the back tees, designed by legendary golf architect Willard Byrd and recognized among the finest layouts in the Carolinas. Located on Lake Murray, the course blends scenic beauty with strategic play. Several holes offer dramatic water views and challenging doglegs—especially on the 2nd, 4th, 15th, 16th, 17th, and the finishing par 5 18th that skirts the lake. The course mixes right and left doglegs, flat and hilly terrain and puts water in play on seven of its 18 holes. The course was recently rated #4 on GolfPass's 2024 National List of Top 25 Most Improved Courses.
