Golden Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located just above the town of Golden, British Columbia, nestled between the Purcell and Rocky Mountains. Opened in its current form in 1986, the course winds through spectacular mountain terrain with the Columbia River meandering along its borders. Each hole was designed to maximize panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, earning Golden recognition as one of British Columbia's most scenic courses. The layout presents challenging golf across varied mountain landscape, with difficulty enhanced by elevation changes and natural terrain features. The course features grass-teed driving range and putting green practice facilities. Golden Golf Club has earned acclaim as BC's #1 Hidden Gem, recognized in 2012 and 2014. The club has deep community roots, dating back to 1935, with the current course developed through significant local fundraising efforts culminating in the 1985-1986 opening.
