The par four 8th hole, measuring 407 yards, is considered the hardest on the course, with players teeing off through a chute of trees and approaching from above their feet as the fairway slopes from right to left; the green has bunkers either side with only a narrow entrance. The par three 11th hole, measuring 180 yards, is regarded by many as the best hole, featuring water down the right side and a quarry face bordering the left side of the green, with a putting surface nearly forty yards in length making club selection critical.
