Mountain Flowers is an exclusive nine-hole par-3 golf course nestled in the center of The Homestead Resort in Glen Arbor, Michigan. The course features 1,208 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 27, and was designed by Robert Walker and opened in 1993. Golfers work their way up and down the dune elevations with Lake Michigan, the Manitou Islands and the Sleeping Bear Dunes as their backdrop. The first two holes climb the ski slopes, while the remaining seven holes are either thrilling downhillers or mostly flat over trouble, with some views of Lake Michigan and greens and distances that differ from one another, giving the course nine different looks. Guests of The Homestead have exclusive use of the course, which serves as a par-3 option for resort visitors alongside the resort's partner 18-hole course, Manitou Passage Golf Club.

Mountain Greens Golf Course

Mountain Greens is an 18-hole course located in McGaheysville, Virginia, featuring 6,464 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer. The course opened in 1972. The course measures 6,443 yards from the blue tees, 6,087 yards from the white tees, 5,608 yards from the gold tees, and 4,846 yards from the ladies tees. The course features very hilly topography with quite a few elevation changes, plenty of woods, many tree-lined fairways, as well as steep drop-offs on the peripheries and meandering streams that frame many of the fairways. Mountain Greens is known for its steeply terraced tees and fairways, with tumbling topography that provides a true test for those who want to master fairway speed and tight angles. There are several blind shots off the tee as well as a few blind approaches. The signature hole is the par-3 Number 8 at 140 yards, which plays uphill requiring an extra club off the tee. It features an "M" shaped bunker short of the green, and from the tee golfers can admire views of the surrounding area. Hole 13 is a 410-yard par-4 challenge and the number 1 handicap hole on the course.

Desert Canyon Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in Mountain Home, Idaho. Established in 1963 as a 9-hole course, the back nine was added in 1998. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,333 yards with a par of 71. The entire golf course presents a significant test from the back tees while offering an easier and more relaxing round from the white and orange tee boxes. The older front nine features large trees and elevated greens, with holes playing either uphill or downhill with a creek meandering through that comes into play on four holes. The back nine was built adjacent to a canyon with four holes constructed around the large canyon and water in play on five holes. Signature holes include hole #14, a 170-yard par 3 requiring a carry over the canyon to a mounded, two-tiered green, and hole #17, a 311-yard par 4 requiring a 150-yard carry from the back tee to the fairway.

The course is located at 56500 Lakeshore Drive in Mountain Lake, Minnesota 56159, in Cottonwood County. It is a links-style course situated on the west side of the city. The course has a rating of 35.7 with a slope rating of 120. The course is open to the public. The facility provides a recreational golf experience for golfers of varying skill levels within southwestern Minnesota.

The course rating is 72.3 with a slope rating of 122. Nestled in the Pocono Mountains, Mountain Laurel Golf Club is one of the area's most popular courses. The longest hole is hole 3, a par-5 that plays to 555 yards, while hole 8 is a par-3 at 178 yards from the back tees. Hole 9 is a 548-yard par-5 challenge and the number 1 handicap hole on the course. Well-groomed fairways and greens keep the course difficult yet friendly. The facility includes an onsite driving range with 6 practice tees. As of April 2007, the course was purchased by a father and son team, and the course is generally maintained in very good condition.

The signature hole is the par-3 17th, a visually stunning feature during blooming season. Players must carry a tranquil lotus-flowered pond bordered by multicolored flowering shrubbery to reach a deeply bunkered green. The Short Course features 18 holes, all par-3, with a par of 54 and length of 2,310 yards. Back in 1961 course architect Jack Snyder originally laid out a short, par-56 resort course that in its heyday was a hotspot for money games among club and touring professionals as well as a magnet for celebrities. Golf course architect Forrest Richardson completely redesigned the course, which originally opened in 1961. The Short Course at Mountain Shadows, nestled in the foothills of Camelback Mountain, offers a scenic layout and a challenging round of golf for players at all skill levels. Holes range from 75 to 200 yards, creating a unique and challenging golf experience. Notable features include the tough-as-nails No. 4, "Biarritz," with its uphill climb to a Biarritz green features a sunken swale that traverses the putting surface, the beloved No. 7 "Jutty" is an ultra-short hole across the water to a peninsula green that juts out into the famous Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale pond, and the "Punchbowl" No. 10 is a secluded, pocketed green with stunning views of Camelback Mountain's Camelhead. You can play all 18 holes in less than three hours, or play 9 holes in an hour and a half. The course features completely re-constructed greens and surrounds with a distinctive "tier" element that provides a much more challenging putting environment.

Mountain Valley Country Club was founded in 1964 by a group of golf enthusiasts who sought to create a premier destination for golfers in the region. The 18-hole course features 6,542 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71, with a course rating of 70.4 and a slope rating of 118. The course layout includes a variety of holes ranging from par 3s to par 5s, with rolling fairways, beautiful water features, and strategically placed bunkers. The course experienced a decline in popularity due to several factors, including increased development in the surrounding neighborhood causing runoff and flooding damage to the grounds, as well as an economic downturn and decreased discretionary spending from the COVID pandemic starting in early 2020, leading to its closure in 2022. The former country club has since been reborn as a permaculture ecological institution, with the legacy living on as a sustainable community committed to preserving the natural beauty of the land.
