The Mountainview Course is a 18-hole golf facility located in Morgantown, West Virginia, situated at 4008 Greystone Drive. Designed by Bryan Ault, the course opened for play in 1985 and winds through the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. The layout covers 6,447 yards and is characterized by gently rolling fairways, tight landing areas, and scenic views through the heart of the Allegheny forest. The course presents a moderate challenge for golfers of all levels, having been rated 3 1/2 stars by Golf Digest. It features three sets of tees with varying difficulty. The slope ratings are 124 from the white tees, 127 from the blue tees, and 122 from the red tees. Corresponding course ratings are 69.1 for the white tees, 70.5 for the blue tees, and 71.4 for the red tees. The design requires players to utilize their full range of clubs to navigate the unique layout and narrow landing zones. The facility is part of the Lakeview Golf Resort Event Venue and hosts events such as the Firecracker Open.
